Clare's Case Study

Last month I ran a coach-a-thon.  This was to raise funds as part of my contribution towards the Tabitha Foundation House Building Programme in Cambodia.  

For anybody that donated I offered either a coaching or biz strategy session, opportunity to be interviewed or do a case study which was recorded and made available as MP3's (especially for my business friends and Coaches). 

Clare Lavender of coaching-i-am.com and member of onlinecoachsupport.com wanted to do a case study in regards to the planning and outcomes of the workshops that she has been running.  Clare specialises in coaching for women through her own Daring Divorced & Divine Programme and The Desire Map by Danielle LaPorte.  She also has been busy with running mosaic workshops.

More about Cambodia for a Cause

Our team led by Jim and Elaine Pollock are heading over to Cambodia in July to build homes for some of the poorest Cambodian families.  These families have typically been in the Tabitha savings program for 4-5 years in order to reach their dream of 'graduating from poverty'.  As part of this savings program, each family has saved and will contribute $40 towards the cost of the new house and land package. 

​Our team either had to fund raise or contribute $1700 per house by the end of April to get things organised for when we go over.  Our team raised $28,496 which will allow for 15 houses to be built and 7 safe wells.  When we arrive we will work side by side with the Cambodians, under their leadership and guidance, giving them the opportunity to teach us valuable life skills (building).  Each volunteer in our team will fund all their our own expenses and contribute to the cost of the materials.  

When our team goes over in July we will each be part of the completion process and meet the families that we have sponsored. We will see the other good work that is happening in Cambodia.
