LIFE, WELLNESS OR BUSINESS COACHES Have you heard of the analogy of the honey bees? The end result is for them to make the honey but it is not their most important role. Their journey starts with them cross pollinating the flowers. Reference One Minute Millionaire (book by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G Allen). The honeycomb is the end product of which the honey is extracted. For best results bees work together as a team, each cone has six sides (milestones) and each cone builds on the one before (the foundation). This reference was provided from Sue Folley of thecauseandeffect.com and one of our wonderful members within Niche Networkers - Online Coach Support. So how does this relate to you and your journey? How and why did you become a Coach and/or business owner? One of the reasons that you may have initially become a Coach is because you got sold on the marketing dream. The promise that you could help people by doing the things you love, have financial freedom and more quality time with friends and family. The skills you would then obtain from coaching was your ticket to a new, extraordinary life. By us all working together, helping, supporting and encouraging each other, learning and applying new skills (cross pollinating our content and promoting each other) we will each achieve our goals (beautiful cones of honeycomb all nestled and joined together). Start with the end in mind, focus on the action that needs to be done and learn the skills that is required when you need to - relax, be confident and enjoy the journey. Above is a honeycomb template. This will help you be very specific with your core product or service that you want to promote. The idea is to start with the end in mind and work backwards. How to get your prospects to become your clients - build up your tribe. Think about how you can repurpose your content - splinter chunks off into smaller segments, create blog posts etc and use social media. You may then want to use this template again to chunk things down further. You may still be working out your product or service. You may have an idea for an upcoming event that you would like to host either online or offline. You may want to use it to work out who to create joint partnerships with or what task can be delegated, automated, outsourced.
I mentioned that you need to warm up your clients first - as they may not be ready to buy from you straight away until. You need at least six or seven touch points to build up some trust and rapport. This could be used to help create a lead magnet or hook from your core content - solving one main problem for your prospects (so they will opt and give you their email). Use this template to also think about your complete marketing plan - landing and thank you pages (first and second touch points), an email system and/or blog posts, segmenting your lists, building up further rapport and trust with your tribe, prospects or clients. If you are a life, wellness or business coach send through completed honeycomb to [email protected]. Let's start building your honeycomb - Let's be like honey bees |
